Well, I"m Gonna Live

The ole bod still feels like it should be on the receiving end of an embalmer's needle, but I've been diagnosed with something that's curable...at least this time.
I have both acute bronchitis, and the peeeeeee u no monia. Viral and bacterial infections!!! Woo hoo!!! A veritable cornucopia of icky-poos takin' up residence in my lungs!
Least it ain't tha big "C". Whew...

I've been given two drugs I've never even heard of, but a mere five hours later, I'm feeling mucho betta!
The first is "Tessalon", or Benzonatate, which is an antitussive, non-narcotic, that reduces the cough reflex in the lungs. It kinda looks like a mini vitamin E capsule, but folks....this shit works!
The other is "Azithromycin", an antibiotic for the bacterial infection. The best thing I can say 'bout this drug, is that there are only FIVE doses! How cool is that?! Lord knows, it's hard as hell to take those full cycles of antis, when it's three pills a day, for 3o freakin' days!

Ooo! Ooo! Ooo! I ate too! And without forcing myself! I only eat 'bout 1000 calories a day usually, but I was beginning to worry. My urge to eat has been virtually nonexistant for the last two weeks, and if I managed a yogurt and half a can of soup, I was doing very well.

So, I think I'm gonna be ok, and what those other two drugs can't handle...well...I'll leave the rest, to Lunesta....
