I've Been Remiss

When I started this blog, one of my "wants", was to high-light some of my "adopted", deployed, military "babies".
Due to OPSEC, and not wanting to put anyone at risk, I've chosen, at times, to remove some posts.

A few of you have read my blog from day 1, and will recognize Sgt. K. If you are not one of those few, you can read my original post about him here.

"My baby", Sgt. K. returned home a while back after completing his "kick-some-ass" deployment in the "Sandbox".
Allah help you if you happened to be an insurgent, anywhere NEAR his Bradley.
Us Coonasses kick ass and leave it to others to take names.

Sgt. K. was released from the Guard, and went "real" Army shortly after his return. He then went on to Airborne school.
"Blouse those trouser legs, baby! AIRBORNE ALL THE WAY!"

I'm very proud of Sgt. K: his commitment to country, his un-flinching service, and his self-discipline. He's a fine man.

Sgt. K is now at Ft. Polk, Loooosianna, playing "war games", and helping to train other soldiers that are headed over-seas.
He recently regaled me with hilarious tales of "engaging the "Americans" in "battle".
I laughed so hard, I peed my pants.
